LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Oncology MD in Worcester, Massachusetts, 01608!About The PositionA reputable community-based outpatient cancer center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) for a 6-month locums assignment with the option to extend. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.   Key Responsibilities:   Evaluate and treat patients with cancer requiring radiation therapy Perform and manage SBRT, IMRT, and 3D radiation treatments See an average of 15–20 patients on treatment daily, with 5 new patient consultations per week Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver comprehensive cancer care Participate in treatment planning and review with dosimetrists and physicists Complete thorough documentation in the EMR system Attend virtual interviews and onboarding via Webex or Teams   Schedule & Coverage Details:   Monday to Friday No nights, weekends, or call Outpatient only – community-based hospital setting  Requirements:   MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Experience with SBRT, IMRT, and 3D treatments required No brachytherapy experience necessary Strong interpersonal and communication skills Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain)  Located just an hour from Boston, Worcester is a vibrant New England city known for its medical and academic institutions, thriving arts scene, and cultural diversity.
